My new years resolutions are do make lists and complete them this year.
I have tried to plan activities for the entire year. I did want to go to Disney but I think it is wiser to stay home and plan different things to do around Indiana and Chicago( since i am about 45 minutes away). I will take Emilio to Summer dance in grant park. This is a very fun activity and they play Spanish Music. I have a little Salsero on my hands. Emilio loves to dance and daily will grab my had and ask to dance with me. He has the beat too. He also loves to breakdance like some of his favorite characters on TV. ( I do not think they will be teaching that at summer dance.)
I wish I was a wonderful deal getter like Bethany. Wow that woman can shop some sales. I do not think that I will ever be that good. But I can start off slowly right.
My friend Lou is wonderful at making outfits and I wish I could sew. They are so adorable!!!!I Could never sew and I know this. (the only "D" i got in school was home EC. I could not make a shirt to save my life.)
I also have tried to find my organization skills again. I was an obsessive organizer. This all went to pot when Emilio came home. Now I cannot believe how UNORGANIZED my house is. Well for 2009 I plan to organize my house.
Another thing for 2009 is to get the old lady curtains down from emilios room. I have lived in my house for 5 years now and I still have the old lady curtains up from the little lady that lived here before me. They are blue but very ugly. I am so embarrassed my this. Hopefully by airing this I WILL GET IT DONE.
The first thing i did finish from my list was to let Emilio play in the snow. I really hate the snow. So i am not one to do any winter outdoor activities. I Break out in HIVES all over if I am outside in the cold too long. (I know Such a freak) My poor child will never be out side playing with me to build a snow man. Is this child neglect???
Well HAPPY NEW YEAR! We will keep all our family and friend near and FAR in our prays all year long.

Happy New Year to you! You are too sweet to think that I am a deal shopper! I have been trying but still not mastered! I can't believe how big Emilio is getting. He's such a handsome little guy! :)
